Just say "NO!" to pushy real estate agents...
Unfortunately, many real estate agents are just plain pushy...it is a sad fact. In fact you'll find that
many of them won't even listen to you and what you want! Some of those smooth talking agents
will often be more interested in making a quick sale than looking out for your best interests.
Here's a typical scenario that happens when you pick the wrong agent...
You tell
them "I don't want to look over $100,000"...they keep presenting homes that are priced higher. You tell them you want
to purchase a home in a specific community/area, they keep presenting homes in other areas. You say..."This home needs too much work", they say..."This is a GREAT home...let's write up
an offer!"
Why don't these agents listen to their clients?
Because they really don't care about you! They just want to make a fast
buck and put in the least amount of time possible so they can move on to their next victim...aaaa-hem...client.
DO NOT settle for poor service!
In my 24+ career as a full-time real estate professional I have NEVER once pushed a client into buying a home. Buying a home
is a big decision. My job is guide and advise my clients so that they can make informed decisions. I will be honest with you and
I will point out anything I see that is good or bad about a home.
Keep in mind I am NOT a home inspector...I do recommend you hire a qualified home inspector when you purchase a home and that is something we can talk more about if you would like to contact me about buying a home.
Should you decide to work with me as your buyer's agent, we'll keep looking for homes until we find the right home for you. Sometimes that means looking at a few homes, sometimes it means looking at 50 or more homes. The important thing is that when we close on your new home, you are happy with your purchase. Hopefully down the road you'll remember that and refer
your friends, family, co-workers, etc. to me.
